Bringing home a meal

Proudly showing off his catch, this male House Sparrow, is preparing to disappear inside the roof tiles behind him with a meal for the young. They have a very secure nesting place.

We have been hearing a lot of singing and chirping from the roof by our fromt door. Much of it can be from the babies yelling for more to eat. Mom and Dad have been very busy with lots of comings and goings.

Soon those little babies will be youngsters and getting ready to fly
