Driftwood

My mom is here visiting and today was just the first day so I was feeling good and enjoying her company. I took her to one of my favorite beaches in Seattle, in lieu of going shopping. Little did I know the beach was overrun with toddlers from a local preschool, thus giving me NO chance of hearing or talking about anything else. She is completely obsessed with children...almost to a borderline disturbing level. I could never mention it to her because she doesn't take criticism well and it would only hurt her feelings and not change anything.
