Bridge 9 on the Seine is the oldest of Paris`s 37 bridges, first stones were laid in 1578, it was the first bridge to be built without houses... I must say Paris has surprised me, they have wonderful buildings that have all been beautifully cleaned and restored, wide boulevards lined with Tulip trees, the parks are well laid out with superb flower beds.. I may mention the food later after further investigation
