Bonus

I?ve been working at my current job for five and a half years. I could say a few words about my job, occasionally nice, possibly more than occasionally less so, but this isn't that kind of blog.

In that time, I've never expected, or received, a bonus, not even at Christmas. It?s just not what my company does. So, it was a surprise and a pleasure to get these vouchers, as a spot bonus for good company performance after a difficult year or two - one for everyone in the company. OK, it?s not a life-changing amount. But it made today a good day. And I need some of those.
