Backseat demographics

We are on the verge of an acute case of overpopulation.
There are tensions on the borders and clashes are always a possibility.
They are usually sudden, vicious and short lived.

And always on a stretch of road when the lone parent at the steering wheel is unable to dispatch a couple of blue-helmet slaps to bring back peace in the disputed territories.

The smallest warring faction has the biggest seat.

And even I find this unfair.
