Chicken Little Day

This is the church which "belongs" to our house, the ex-vicarage.
If we have visitors they always remark on the graveyard and the steeple, so with this shot I was trying to show both, while also giving a slightly gothic look to the Autumn tree in the centre of the property.

I have used a filter to enhance emphasis on these things. It looks pretty cool enlarged as it shows the way the filter has altered but enhanced the tree and lines on the church positively. Certainly adds to the mood of the total picture.

The sky was a typical dark threatening north west cloud cover which although warm in temperature has bought a gloom over the city today. It feels almost dark. the clouds feel low- Chicken Little would be worried!
