Hoover Tower
I promised night shots at Stanford. This wasn't what I had in mind but I forgot to put the quick release plate on my camera before leaving this AM. So, best I could do is this high ISO handheld shot of Hoover tower. The structure was built in 1941 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the university. The moon was rising huge and bright and the storm clouds have for the most part cleared out leaving us with a very brisk evening.
Also, a few weeks ago here was my blip. If you read the journal (and comments) for that day you will see it was taken of an exhibit at the San Francisco airport. Well. a couple of days ago I came across this very interesting article about the "museum" and its exhibits.
