Flotsam and Jetsom

A low tide this evening allowed me a proper look at this gerry-built jetty on the south side of the Boyne neat the centre of town. The legs of the structure have caught all manner of floating debris and also some dumped metal. At this level, the river looks pretty disgusting and really brown. It doesn't look very habitable for wildlife or pleasant to look at for us humans either.
