Small Boats Harbor Floating Dock

I always express my gratitude to the Blip Gods when there is a colorful sunset.

This is the floating dock for small boats at the Anchorage Harbor. The platform on the right rises as the tide comes in. Now it is near low tide. The platform rises to near the top of the uprights up there near the white caps.

You can see the tie up cleats on the dock platform.

Of course that is Mount Susitna, the Sleeping Lady to the west. She is lying on her back, looking up. Her head is to the left, feet to the right. Oh, and the water there is the Cook Inlet.

The dock is not really a landmark, more like a water mark. But Mount Susitna certainly is a well know landmark.
