...the importance of the little things.

This teeny buckle breaking in two nearly meant me having to walk home bare-foot. Not good! Am I likely to get it fixed? Hmmm, probably not. It reminds me of years back when my beloved MiniDisc player had a problem with one tiny mechanical component, and it turned out it was going to cost more to fix than to buy a whole new player. That sort of thing always baffles me.
