Lunch

Well that is lunch over for another day. I had one boiled egg, slice of brown bread and a plum.
I am old enough to remember when eggs were rationed and dried egg was the norm.

Fortunately my grandfather had a croft with some chickens so we never went short My Father was a Miller and we used to get wheat germ on our porridge and plenty of bran,
what a change from the current diet.

I tend to forget like most old people how much time has passed and our experiences are ancient history to young people.
