change of plan...

Bit of an emergency blip today. As I was about to go out on a photo-walkabout a torrential rain storm hit, I was offered a lift home and what can I say? I'm weak!

So it'll have to be Schrödinger again. Unfortunately Pauli is still in the hospital tank, not doing too well. At the end of last week he was looking really lively, and I was even considering moving him back into the main tank, but over the weekend he started to deteriorate again. I've noticed that his face is a bit lopsided, he can only open half of his mouth so eating is difficult. When he does get food in he's really struggling to swallow it, and often just brings it back up after a few minutes. I've been feeding him garden peas, and when he can keep them down they do seem to be helping the swim bladder problems he's also had. Thankfully he doesn't seem to be in too much distress.

Schrödinger, on the other hand, is going from strength to strength! He's loving the space in the big tank now, 120 litres all to himself. He's really lively and has grown noticeably since Pauli left. As you can see, he's looking really healthy, I liked this shot because it shows off his lovely big fins :)
