Scarecrow and Ms Grace

After a very successful inaugural year in 2009, it is time for the 2nd village scarecrow competition. This chap stands outside the Methodist Chapel where Grace and Ophelia go to their Baby and Toddler Group. Grace is absolutely fascinated by the many scarecrows who have popped up all around the area. I had planned to make a scarecrow likeness of my Dad to stand on the main road by the farm, but never got round to getting it made, so hats off to those who have found the time and put in the effort this year.

The first of the swallows was spotted on the farm today!
