Day One of Assembly Proper!

We managed to get up this morning and make it to BHS cafe for a bacon buttie and hot drink special! After which we headed to the Pavilions so hubby could finish all the setting up and I could do a quick internet check.

Headed back to the room to start essay number two and wrote about 500 words. But by lunchtime my head was spinning so I decided it was time to give the study a good break for a couple of days and enjoy the assembly.

Hubby and I shared some lunch, had a wander and a little rest before grabbing another pizza for dinner and heading into the Assembly.

Blipped the banner in the foyer with the Vision of Assembly! Then enjoyed the opening ceremony and worship. Last bit of internetting before bed... maybe go for a glass of wine but depends how hubby feels when he finishes the last rehearsal soon.
