Things of note today:

After two weeks of comparatively dross weather the past two days have been two of the hottest of the year, and people are moaning about it.

On country roads many old women push wheelbarrows, the ones I saw contained lettuces, nothing and what I think were potatoes, respectively. The men carry scythes. Both walk dangerously far from the edge of the road, preferring the smell of burning asphalt and rubber to safety.

There are a hell of a lot of fantastic industrial buildings in a town up the road, more of which later hopefully.
