Charleston, Oregon
After zooming home to eat lunch, I managed to sneak out to Charleston for a quick photo. I have often driven out to the beach and looked longingly at this shot while driving over the bridge.
So I parked the car and walked to the middle of the bridge for some shots. Now I did decide to stay true to my B&W week, so I'm hoping it's interesting enough. I know there is a lot of vast nothingness, but I sort of like that.
What you see in the distance is the mouth to the South Slough, which is a sanctuary. I hope to take the boys there soon when the weather stays nice. It's a beautiful area. This slough then dumps into the bay (behind this) and then on out past the jetty to the ocean.
Now I couldn't resist sharing the following two photos I took last night. They are in color, so I'm cheating a bit, but they just didn't look as amazing in b&w. I had forgotten until today that they were on my camera. Sunset #1 and Sunset #2.
