a flourish of warmth
that began a day or two ago


i looked out this sunny lunch time
warm sunshine lit up the valley
and i noticed just how green the woods had become

spring in bloom
warmth coursing through my wintered body


bright sunshine
blue sky
green leaves



sometimes it's hard express these simple joys
