Here be Deer

Not good photo at all! Frustration again at this camera. It's like going back in time...

There were 3 or 4 deer in the field, right out in the open. Particularly wary and shy. They probably had fawns hidden in the undergrowth. Eyed me very warily from quite a distance away, but whilst I could see they wanted to be off they hesitated. One ran but then came back again.
I kept walking so as not to disturb. Nice moment though to see them.
I didn't linger
