Daffodils

There's an interesting thread on the forum, asking the question, why do we photograph flowers....for me, this is why i do it.....i submerged myself in this vase of daffodils this morning....for about an hour i explored the changing light, the subtle changes in shapes and forms. I wanted to be so tiny that i could fit right inside this intoxicating golden place! The fragrance was stunning, the texture of all the various petals just so beautiful! I loved the slight differences in nuance, and had to go back 3 times to get just the right shot.....for me that is!

It's a bit cloudy here now, although the sun was very strong for about the first 2 hours of this morning....but at least it has stopped raining!!!
