May Dip

The dawn of the 1st of May in St Andrews sees thousands of students cram down onto the beach to do the 'May dip'. Apparently it is to commemorate a man who died after saving the lives of seven sailors after a boat hit the rocks off Castle Sands. It was very cold, there was a lot of nudity, hot chocolate and booze so all in all it was an enjoyable late night!
