Beltane

First of May :) I like this Sabbat, its joyful and hopeful and has a great tradition which sadly has been lost to some degree.

Also, close to where my father in law lives in Ireland is a stone circle that is named after Beltane so that makes it even more special to me.

I was thinking about going to watch some folk dancers on a local hill dance to the sunrise of 1st May but I am near exhaustion at the moment and decided it was unwise. I hope to go next year.

As it was I have recognised Beltane with my own little ritual and took some lovely photos at the same time. I was not sure which one to use so I stuck them all together.
