Rainy days don't always get me down...

It was an 'indoor day', spent helping a desperate 11 year old with one of those overwhelming school projects, with much success (thank goodness).

After several weeks of truly fabulous weather, the rain and gray sky have arrived for their turn. It was a peaceful and quiet rain with no wind, warm enough to avoid a real chill, and quite welcome. These lilacs grow as part of the dividing hedge between us and our neighbor and were as far as I was willing to take my camera today.
