River Tranquil (aka Trent)

The light enhanced the scenery today and reminded me that there are some very attractive places in the suburbs of Nottingham. I tend to forget about them in the flatness of the terrain on this the west side of the city. Growing up in Sheffield meant being surrounded by hills, everywhere was 'up' or 'down', whereas around here, everything is 'along'.

My brother and sister-in-law came along today. News from the neurologist came along, more tests... but the forecast rain stayed away. Looking forward to a couple of lazy days doing not a lot - unless of course something inviting comes along.
