Mother Hen - awaits chicks' arrival.

This is Darcy Rainbow. She is one of our five Bantam hens and became broody 3 weeks ago. So, as we don't have a cockerel we went and purchased 6 fertilised eggs for her to hatch out. We bought 3 silver lace wyandotte eggs and 3 light sussex eggs. Today is day 20 and so they are due to hatch out either tomorrow evening or Monday morning.

It is very eggciting!!!

We hope none of them are cockerels as we can't possibly keep them but I can't dispose of them either!

I hope to be putting pix up on blip of baby chicks in next few days.
