My Wild Friend

If you want to see better photos of fantails they are here. This particular bird, however, is special. For the last month he has regarded my home as part of his territory and me as a harmless neighbour. If the door is not open he sits on the door handle and screeches at me to let him in. He flies all round me, sometimes as close as six inches. He is a free wild bird and I feel so privileged.

Scale: He is 16 cm or 6.5 inches from head to tip of tail.
