Storm is a coming

This is the house my wife and I built here in rural Cambodia. We had no architect or project managers and neither of us have any building experience. We worked with a team of local builders and after many frustrations we moved in two Decembers ago. It's a simple design but we love it.

This afternoon after a very hot and dry period here in Cambodia we finally got a downpour. This was most welcome.

The sky went black before the heavens opened. Quite dramatic.
