The things you learn on blip

Not being a die-hard Springsteen fan and so only having heard a woman (Natalie Cole) sing it, I never twigged the metaphorical content of the song before.
But now I have it makes sense... I'm still not keen on it though.
Monmouth Steam fair today - lots of big flywheels and thrusting pistons and kinetic energy.
Or am I being too sexually explicit?
