Cwm Idwal

This is one of my favourite places - we've been coming here since before we were married, with many different and wonderful friends. It resounds with memories.
We arrived late in the day and the sky was dark with a mist rolling in over the mountain tops.
With the valley to ourselves, we marvelled at the sheer scale of the place
and our own smallness.

(also a good chance to test out new walking boots - comfortable as slippers -
well the old ones were a bit tired after 25yrs!)
