Approaching rain...

Lovely walk out into the Peaks with Mum, Dad and dog. Parking at Longshaw Lodge and walking round the bottom of Burbage, then up Higger Tor and Carl Walk, dropping down and round near Mothers Cap and Owler Tor before walking back up to the Lodge. Some stunning scenery; I miss this kind of landscape even when surrounded by the Welsh hills. Perfect start to the day, finished off with lunch at 'Outside' in Hathersage.

Then back home, quick supermarket shop and birthday tea with Sheff friends and family. Birthday is actually on Tuesday, but I'm greedy and wanted two parties :P
