Journey home

It was raining quite heavily today so we weren't able to venture out and about as much as we had hoped to. Instead it was a cab ride to Harrods and back as the BF had never been. Of course we started with the food courts and then moved on to the jewels and then up a few floors so that we could experience the Egyptian staircase (which I love). There was an Opera singer performing from one of the balconies, just amazing! (Was only able to take pictures with my iphone and there was nothing stand out to use as a blip.)

Our journey home was quite something, starting off with a taxi to the train station, 45 minutes on a train to St Albans where we had to change to a bus because of the rail works happening this holiday weekend. Then on to Luton where we caught our flight back to Aberdeen, another bus to the car park and then in the trusty Alfa home. A transportation delight.
