A bonus

In the last couple of years I've tried to be more organised about my collection of seed packets and throw out any that have long gone "Sow by" dates on them. Of course, I chuck all these 'old' seeds into the compost bucket to take up to the bins at the allotment.

This is a bed where D spread some of the compost back in the autumn. It looks as if last year I threw out the seeds of some oriental leafy mustard which have now all germinated and will keep us in spicy salads and stir fries for some weeks. Hurray!
