Rain rain go away...

Rainy and cold this morning so Henry had a quiet time drawing and colouring. His faithful friend (and partner in crime) was, as ever, close by.

Then the sun came out so we wrapped up and headed for Hamerton Wildlife Park. The animals looked as cold as we did and many were hiding but we did meet a Siberian Snowy Owl with a squint and an evil-looking Blue-Winged Kookaburra with attitude :-) The number of woolly hats and scarves on display among the other visitors confirmed this was a bona fide British May Bank Holiday.

It took hot chocolates all round to warm us up again but a good time was had by all.
