More exploring today, taking advantage of the Bank Holiday. This time, I headed off to Dun Laoghaire (pronounced Dun Leary!), just south of Dublin itself. Formerly known as Kingstown when Ireland was still part of the British Empire, it is a beautiful place with loads of Georgian and Victorian architecture. It has been well preserved too and is full of character. I spent quite a few hours photographing in all directions, but this was easily my favourite. The best of the rest can be seen HERE. Scroll down; there are ten in total! These multi-coloured tulips were in a flowerbed directly outside the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) station.
