sergio vasquez

Sergio Vasquez is a painter that lives in the neighborhood, about a block or so from us. Today i stopped in to introduce myself, and we had a nice long visit.

Sergio hails from Mexico, though has lived here in LA most of his life. His studio is in a makeshift garage with passageways and rooms decorated with his own and local artists' work. Sergio has made a living off his art for decades, and considers himself very blessed.

Full of energy. Nice guy.

The light was not great, but we made due. Also soft lens capture, oh well.
