Macau

We spent Sunday in Macau, another SAR (Special Autonomous Region) of China, and an hour's boat ride from Hong Kong. Macau is a fascinating mix of Portugal and China (and Las Vegas- Macau is the home of gambling in Asia), and was apparently the first European settlement in Asia.

The egg tarts in Macau were phenomenally good- I don't really like egg custard tarts, but these were truly delicious. I almost blipped my picture of them. Instead, I just dreamt about them last night...
