My picture postcard

This is the centre of our town. The clock was presented to the people of Colwyn Bay by the parents of Andrew P. Fraser Bsc. FCA who died in Brussels in 1984, aged 34. The plaque reads 'A Humanitarian, Musician, Mountaineer and Traveller'.
I don't know the circumstances of his death but his memory lives on through this beautiful time-piece, which is passed by so many people each day.
