Friedrichstrasse at night

Loving Berlin, seems to combine everything I like about both Paris and Copenhagen - stylish, historic, but the streets are wide and quiet and everybody behaves correctly at the pedestrian crossings. Had a good walk about, very excited to be "Unter den Linden" and seeing the Brandenburg Gate in the distance. I've shopped for breakfast so I can have a lazy morning in my stylish little studio apartment and start seeing the city properly tomorrow. This is one of the department stores on Friedrichstrasse, just round the corner. When I walked up in daylight it was quite ordinary-looking but when I came back it was a blaze of pink and white lights.
