Babies

A while back the hubby noticed a nest being built in the barn right on top of one of his shelves where he stores tools, waist level when I'm standing next to it. Then we noticed eggs - 5 eggs. About a week or so ago they hatched and here they are. You can see 4 of them with their mouths wide open and the 5th one was out of my range, but this is the first time I've been able to get a shot of them. You can see their little fuzz if you look close. They're little wrens - so tiny.

Mama doesn't seem to mind too much that we're around either. The hubby and I are wondering how 5 little wrens are going to fit in that little nest as they get older. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

They are so cute.
