Tonight I finished my first attempt at the basic curry sauce from my new book. The idea is that this sauce will form the base of virtually every curry dish made in an Indian restaurant.
The base sauce itself doesn't taste too exciting but when used in a recipe, like the one I chose to test it on tonight, it really does create a restaurant style dish.
I was so amazed that I ate the curry before I could get a picture of it! So here's a crap picture of the book instead.
