Jacob's holiday diary - Day 2

Today, me, Mum, Dad, my Auntie, Uncle and cousins headed for a big walk past the lily loch, through the bracken and down the rock face to Taylor's cove. This is the monk's retreat place on the rocks. Free of gas and electricity etc it is real back-to-basics.

We started the holiday frog hunt/count today and I'm going to make bracken soup tonight.

Dad was impressed with the only pub-for-miles (Drumbeg Hotel) and their innovative progression since the smoking ban.
