Our daughter's class has been working for 7 weeks on the culminating project of their primary education - I liken it to a master's thesis in many way - that is meant to sharpen and enhance the skills they have learned in their young lives. The students are encouraged to work independently and parents are strongly encouraged to assist without taking ownership.

The Central idea of the Exhibition: "The Arts Can Be a Powerful Tool for Social Activism" was given as the starting point; each individual chose an issue that was important to them to research. The 'Exhibition' will be held at the end of this week and will showcase each individual's report and their Creative Response - a piece of art that will impart a message.

These posters are on display at the school and are part of the project. I am impressed...
