Insects Galore!
Spence was in daycare today and there are only 2 more sleeps until Kaz and I go to Thailand so I had a massive todo list! Spence usually wakes up at 7am but today I woke at 8.30 and he was still asleep!! It was great to have a sleep in but then we had to rush to get ready!
I dropped Spence off then got into my list! The biggest thing on it was to finsih painting the room downstairs! I decided to do as many quick things as I could before I started on the painting so at least I had some things finished!! I got about 8 things then then tackled the painting!
I had finished everything except one piece of wall about 4 meters long when I ran out of paint! How annoying! At least it was on the outside in the garage bit so the carpet man can carpet the inside!
Kaz went into the city today for work but was back in time to pick Spence up from daycare as I had to go to work. She called me on her way home and told me Spence has a girlfriend! He is having orientation into the next room up with the bigger kids. There is another girl, Kaitlin, doing the same thing. Apparently today they were playing together for the whole day and then when he was leaving they were both waving enthusiastically to each other!! Kaz said it was really cute!
I went outside this afternoon to find my blip before I went to work. I tried a few things, took some photos of flowers and then went to work. When I took this photo I had only noticed the two big bugs on it. When I was going through my photos on the computer deciding which one to use, I saw the black bug up the top as well. Then on closer inspection I also saw the funny looking bug on the leaf on the right hand side.
I opened the photo in Picasa and used the 'I feel lucky' button then upped the saturation a bit then noticed that there were three little grey looking bugs near the fold of the pink part of the flower! I then looked closer and saw the two pink bugs on the part where the yellow and pink meet, then saw the one underneath the bug in focus! I was showing it all to Dromanarama who I work with, and then saw another little pink bug under the back leg of the bug in focus!! I just kept on seeing more of them! It is amazing how much more you see when you actually look! That is one of things I love about blip!
