Last Summer Dance

We've had LOADS of rain over the past week. So when we woke up to clear blue skies this morning, we jumped out of bed, loaded the boys into the car, sped down to the local rugby field and let them loose for a good run.

After an utterly blip-less day yesterday, I was spoilt for choice following this morning's run. I initially attempted to adjust the picture's exposure, as it seemed very dark to me, but I eventually decided to upload the original version... it just seems such an honest, innocent and joyful image!

Paddington and Baloo ran until their little legs could run no more. We then loaded them back into the car and went home to get ready for work. When we left for work, they were fast asleep, curled up side-by-side. I'm sure I could spot little smiles on their faces, as if to say: "We know winter's coming, but we'll be holding onto summer just a little while longer... if only for today" :)
