Wonder violet
Z found this lovely Viola mirabilis close to his office today. The "wonder" about it is, I guess, the fact that it flowers now with "regular flowers", but during the summer it produces more flowers that never open, but pollinate themselves. That type of flowers are called "cleistogamous" (cleistos= closed, gameion= marriage).
This is blip #888!
