Name this Bird
Was still feeling the 'ick' from the last couple of days...but life continues to go forward...so I was up and ready for the day (well, partly ready). I started the day with an almost-car-accident. I saw someone get hit pretty hard, which sent her sailing over the center-divide and gliding right towards me. It was like a movie in slow motion. I made eye contact with the man in back of me at the red light, backed up just in time for the woman's vehicle to spin and land facing me right in the spot where I was just parked at a red light. Her car then hit the car directly in front of me. Her airbag had deployed and she was stunned and I don't know what sort of injuries she incurred. All I could do at first was hold up my phone so that she could see I was calling for emergency vehicles. The ambulance had arrived and had taken her away. I was right near my home and was on my way to get something and head back out to preschool. By the time I was on my way to the preschool, I ironically ended up right in back of the tow truck driver that was taking her car away. I felt like my guardian angels were watching over me today.
Today was grandma errand day. I saw this bird in my blip photo here last week in the pond next to her house and it looked extremely rare for it's environment. Somehow it looks like it just doesn't belong here...so I was surprised to see it still here this week. Can any of my blip friends name this type of bird?
I went on with the tasks of the days and then sent Liam off on a playdate with his best pal, Cody. I was having a hard parenting day because it seems that when I don't feel well, Landon tests me the most. Luckily he fell asleep on the way back from Cody's house from just simply crying and whining. He was having a hard day right along with me. Loren's been enthralled with the IXL math website that he's trying out for his teacher, so I haven't heard a whole lot from him since he's come home!
Off to small group and hoping my dizziness/nausea subsides!
