Afternoon tea in the garden

Mary and Alexander came over. The fine bone china tea set came out and as we sat in dappled shade under the ficus tree in our garden, delving into one of the scrumptious birthday cakes and farmer's market strawberries, I looked down to see that Reuben had been lulled into a beautiful sleep. Everything was so delightfully pretty that the tiara had to come out again.

Later that afternoon, we drove to Disney to see the parade in the hope that it would raise Reuben's spirits and some little smiles delightfully appeared.
