They have spoken
I came across an interesting collection of handicraft in our city's main library. The pieces were done by young people who are mentally handicapped (if that's the correct term) under craft workshop by the name 'Ugh, I have spoken.'
As you may guess, the theme of the workshop has been American Indian culture; therefore the exhibition presented various objects, such as drums, beads and bowls made by the young students.
Here's a row of colourful shields being studied by a group of preschool children. Portraits of the makers can be seen on the right.
It was also nice that people were asked to sign the guestbook using both their own name and their 'Indian name'. Very touching!
Yours, visitor Low-Climbing Squirrel
