Lunch

I was treated to a belated birthday lunch by a dear friend today in a rather opulent hotel: marble floors and walls, chandeliers, and Swarovski crystal-embedded silver seats! (The walls of the lifts are lined with the same crystals). I would have been happy with a falafel, but she wanted to spoil me : ). It was delicious.

After lunch, we took a stroll around and found this indoor swimming pool. I like the giant coffee pots and the rather grand drapes.
