Laburnum Yellow

At this time of year it seems as if the whole of my garden is trying to flower at once. Today it is the turn of the laburnum over and old rose arch, to show its colours.

Many people avoid laburnum because of its seeds, which can be poisonous if eaten in large enough quantities, and miss out on the drooping cascades of yellow blooms.
