Chips!

Too cold to go to the coast. Instead we went to the local water sports centre and sat warmly in the car watching the swans and wind surfers battle the choppy waters of the loch.

A biting wind today, the same northern one that is bringing the volcanic ash our way.

Lots of jackdaws and rooks blowing about in the developing gales, feathers ruffled. We also spotted a small flock of swallows trying to catch flies over the water but poor things were getting hurled back to the shore each time.

I'm not sure what tomorrow, or tomorrows weather, will bring.
